Jeremiah was elected to the board in the spring of 2009 for a 4-year term. Jeremiah serves as chairman of the street, zoning, and mosquito control committee. He also serves on the finance, personnel and cable tv, and water and sewer committee.
Jeremiah was born and raised in Atwood he graduated from Atwood-Hammond High School in 1997 and went straight to the army where he served as a medic until 2001, when he moved back to Atwood. His wife's name is Mickie and he has 3 children Casey, Shelby, and Megan. He has been on the Atwood Fire Department for several years and is the assistant chief. He works at Yeakley's Automotive in Hammond. He has several family members that live in and around Atwood. |
