Gloria was appointed in 2007. Her current term ends April 2009. She's employed by Topflight Grain as Pierson's Branch Manager and Grain Originator. Gloria is married to Rob for 12 years. Her family moved to Atwood in 2000. She grew up in this area (Central Illinois) and has been here ever since. Her daughters (Stacey and Hilary) started and graduated from the Atwood-Hammond School District. Since both daughters are out of the house, Gloria has a new baby--she is a 5 year old chocolate lab named Babe. In her spare time, she likes to spend it with family and friends. Gloria and her family still attend school functions at Atwood-Hammond. They also go to her grandsons (Michael 8 and Andrew 3) functions. Both boys play hockey for the Bloomington Youth Hockey League. Gloria is the Chairmain of the Parks, Insurance, Buildings Waste Managemement, and Property Management Committee. Gloria also serves on the Civic Improvement, Tourism and Special Projects Committee along with the Police, Health and Safety Committee.
